Kevin BoyleKevin Boyle

President and CEO

Mr. Boyle is a seasoned executive with over twenty years experience in the chemical industry. He most recently held the position of President and CEO of OCI Chemical, a wholly owned subsidiary of DC Chemicals, Ltd. of South Korea. Mr. Boyle started his career with Petrofina (now a part of the French-based TOTAL S.A.) in 1986 as an engineer at their Cos-Mar plant in Louisiana, USA and held positions of increasing responsibility within several functional areas including manufacturing, quality, research and development, supply chain and sales. In 1998 he was named Vice President of the Polyethylene Division and in 2003 was named the Vice President of Base Chemicals and Supply Chain. Mr. Boyle was President of Global Styrenics, based in Brussels, Belgium, from 2004 to 2007. In May 2007, he joined OCI Chemical as President and CEO. Mr. Boyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University.

 

Eric Gregoire

President, Europe Region

Mr. Gregoire joined Columbian Chemicals leadership team in May 2010. His most recent position was CEO of Marioff Corporation, a fully owned subsidiary of UTC, based in Helsinki, Finland. Mr. Gregoire started his career in 1992 as an automotive account manager, based in Turin, Italy, with Dupont de Nemours. Throughout the following 12 years, he held positions of increasing responsibilities in Engineering, Production, Product Management, Sales and Marketing in various European countries. His last position with DuPont was Industrial Marketing Director Europe and Country Manager Italy for the Engineering Polymer business. In 2004, Mr. Gregoire joined GE Plastics as General Manager, West European Region, based in The Netherlands. After the sale of GE Plastics to Saudi Arabian SABIC, Mr. Gregoire was appointed GM, Global Integration. Upon completion of the Post Merger Integration program, in 2008, Mr. Gregoire moved to Marioff, as CEO. Mr. Gregoire holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics from Ecole Centrale Paris.


 

Ronaldo Silva Duarte
Ronaldo Duarte

President, South America Region

Mr. Duarte has 28 years of distinguished service with Columbian Chemicals.  He started his career in Brazil as a laboratory assistant in Quality and Production Control.  During his tenure, Mr. Duarte has progressed to hold a variety of leadership roles within the company including Technical Service, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales and Marketing, and Safety, Health and Environmental.  He holds a Chemistry degree at CARMO University and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Oswaldo Cruz University and Post-Graduation Degree in Business Administration and Economy at FAAP University and Global Management Program at THUNDERBIRD.


 

John Loudermilk
John Loudermilk

President, North America Region

Mr. Loudermilk joined Columbian Chemicals in 2005 as Director of Global Operations.  In 2008 he became Vice President of Global Operations.  Prior to his current role, Mr. Loudermilk held a variety of leadership positions within Monsanto and Solutia including responsibility for manufacturing, procurement, sales and supply chain and has seventeen years of chemical industry experience.  Mr. Loudermilk holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

 


 


 

Mark BreenMark Breen

Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Breen is Columbian’s chief financial officer. Before his promotion to vice president in 2001, Mr. Breen had served as controller since joining Columbian Chemicals in 1997. Earlier, he was the Group Controller for the Cleaver-Brooks Division of Aqua Chem. in Wisconsin. Mr. Breen began his career with Sundstrand Aerospace in Illinois, where he held positions in the areas of operations and cost management, financial systems, general accounting, and financial planning and analysis. Breen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master’s degree in management information systems from Northern Illinois University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.


 

Jas SandhuJas Sandhu

 Vice President, Industrial Carbon Black Business

Mr. Sandhu joined the Columbian Chemicals Leadership Team in late 2000. He has responsibility for the company's Industrial Carbon Black Business globally.  Mr. Sandhu began his career with Columbian Chemicals in 1991 as a Technical Sales Representative at Columbian's manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  In 1995, he was promoted to Sales Manager for Canada.  In 1996, Mr. Sandhu relocated to Malaysia to lead Columbian's growth strategy in the Asia region.  In 1998, he was promoted to Director for the Asia region.  Mr. Sandhu had previous experience in technology, purchasing and sales/marketing at Goodyear, GE and Rohm and Haas.  Mr. Sandhu holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada and he completed the Asia Pacific Executive MBA program at the National University of Singapore during his assignment in Asia. 


 

David YoungDavid Young

Vice President of Technology and Engineering

Mr. Young is a seasoned R&D executive with 30 years of experience in Carbon Black research and technology areas.  Mr. Young was the Director of Columbian's Process Development Technology group prior to becoming the Vice President of Columbian's Global Technology Organization.  Mr. Young's background includes significant leadership experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing.  In addition, Mr. Young spent 11 years working in carbon black plants on RCB and ICB products.  He worked previously with Continental Carbon Company as Director of R&D.  Mr. Young holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.


 

Tim FedrigonTim Fedrigon

Vice President of Human Resources

Mr. Fedrigon joined Columbian Chemicals in 2007 bringing with him 20 years of Human Resources experience.  Mr. Fedrigon's background includes significant leadership experience in Compensation and Benefits, Organization Development, Labor Relations, Training and Development and Talent Management.  Prior to joining Columbian, Mr. Fedrigon spent two years with FKI Logistics as Vice President of Human Resources for their North American Operations.  In addition, Mr. Fedrigon spent 13 years working in the chemical industry with Cabot Corporation in prominent Human Resources roles.  Mr. Fedrigon holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University.


 

Joe GaynorJoe Gaynor

Vice President, Safety, Health, Environmental and General Counsel

Mr. Gaynor joined Columbian Chemicals in 2010 bringing with him over 20 years of Legal, Safety, Health and Environmental experience primarily in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Gaynor’s background includes areas of manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, international legal operations, litigation, regulatory compliance, labor and employment matters and SEC reporting management. Prior to joining Columbian, Mr. Gaynor was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Salutria Pharmaceuticals, LLC, a privately held pharmaceutical company. In addition, Mr. Gaynor spent four years with AtheroGenics, Inc. and ten years with UCB Chemicals Corporation. Mr. Gaynor earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Emory University School of Law and has a B.S. in Business with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Miami University in Ohio. He is a member of the American and Georgia Bar Associations and an active member of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
