Carbon Blacks Meeting the Needs of Specialty Applications

Columbian offers carbon blacks for various specialty applications.  The range of applications is quite diverse, and includes, but is not limited to:

• Adhesives
• Energy systems 
• Concrete and mortar pigmentation
• Foundry casting agents where the carbon black can act as a lubricant and/or oxygen scavenger
• Metallurgy
• Paper for pigmentation and/or conductivity
• Roofing granules for pigmentation in asphalt shingles
• Very easy dispersing blacks where only limited dispersion energy is available
